lovedad…Sorry I didn’t see this until today….I’m in Phillipsburg NJ….now for the last 17 years…I grew up in Roselle Park which is in Union County very close to NYC so it was not an inconvenience to travel there….although I would have gone any place….Dr Myron Schwartz is in charge of the liver transplantation/surgey department at Mt Sinai Hospital…his office is on 98th Street…his phone number has changed but I have the old one and they will give you the new one it is 212-241-2891…Dr Schwartz operated on me when I was told no by another hospital in the city….in fact he has operated on me twice…he is caring, compassionate and a very smart cookie…he’s my hero…best of luck to you and your Dad…you are doing everything you can for him….he is a very lucky man to have you fighting beside him!

Congratulation for the 4 year milestone!!! So happy for you.

I just realize you are in NJ too. Is Dr. Schwartz a surgeon doctor? What’s the doctor’s full name? Thanks!

Nancy…sorry for chiming in so late. Congratulations on passing the four year milestone. That is fantastic. Thanks for letting us know. I too was in New York attending a conference I will report on tomorrow. We started early and went into the evening, but I took a few minutes to run to the Rockefeller Center. Agree, the tree is beautiful.
    Hugs,

Nancy, this is wonderful news, I am so happy for you. My son said the tree is amazing and has over 45,000 lights on it ! I would love some restaurant recommendations for my son and his girlfriend and for us when we visit. We were there for Thanksgiving and it was awesome. Maybe we can meet on our next journey to the city.
    Hugs,
    Lisa

Thanks to all for the well wishes…Randi I know you will be posting in this section very soon!!! Pam the tree is spectacular! So big and bright I think I take it for granted…we go just about every year…Christmas time in the city is special but very crowded! It was great this year we saw the tree at about 6 pm we got closer then we have been in quite a few years…so the earlier the better! As always I’m wishing everyone well and praying for a cure if not early detection for this disease….I’m amazed at all the wonderful people who share on this website!! If anyone wants to see this amazing tree I would be happy to be a tour guide…I also know alot of really good restaurants in the area….Yum!

What wonderful news!! I’m sure your holiday season will be merry and bright!!! I bet it was awesome seeing that big, beautiful tree. I saw the tree lighting on tv, but I bet it is spectacular in person. I am so happy for you. Take care and keep up the great work!

Hello to all….hoping everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I had my 3 month f/u CT yesterday with Dr Schwartz….my second resection surgery was on August 13th….feeling blessed to say all was clear and Dr Schwartz is still not recommeding chemo for me…I did not have adjuvant after the surgery but I did have 4 rounds of a very rough chemo regiment before my surgery. In October it was 4 years since I was diagnosed with Intrahepatic CC…..just want to let everyone know Dr. Schwartz was my second opinion….so don’t give up…see as many specialists as you think needed…..After the appointment my husband and I went to see the tree in Rockefeller Center…she is a beauty and she is a Jersey girl!
