    Hi Brigitte,

Fingers crossed your next scan brings good news.  I wish your medical folks had better manners when interacting with their patients.  I didn’t like hearing about the lack of courtesy.  Let’s hope it was just bad days and future interactions will be more professional.  if not, you should report this to someone.  The lump you are perceiving in your abdomen should be carefully checked out, hopefully at your next visit this will happen.  In a clinical trial, the researchers are supposed to be meticulous in monitoring what happens with patients so it was surprising to me your observation was not given more attention.

    Take care, regards, Mary

Tuesday will be the last infusion before my scan on 29th September. If it did any good, I will go into phase 2, if not then it is back to the drawing board.

I must admit I don’ t care much for the bedside manners of some of the staff or their care of getting back to me when I called with a UTI. I had to wait over the weekend for a NP to call me and oder med at my local pharmacy on Monday. Then on Tuesday when I saw a NP before chemo, she kept yawning and in a rush even though I told her I had a lump on my stomach. She barely checked it and said could be my liver getting worse!. Then walked out.
