November 29, 2012 at 9:17 pm #67060gavinModeratorAnd there you are, just like magic!
Yes I don’t like this chest infection thing either. Mum was struggling today loads, really chesty, coughing different than normal and very puffed. She did her usual of I’ll see how I am tomorrow……. NO! Wrong attitude! I got the gp on the phone. Was too late to get the gp out as you need to arrange that first thing, so phoned them instead and she called back in 10 mins. Mum has her preds and amoxycillin, 7 days supply at home just in case and the gp said to start taking them today. She also said for mum to phone again tom if she wants her to come see her at home. We’ll see how mum is tom, but hopefully the meds will have started working.
For sure I’ll give mum a hug and tell her what you say!
And you take a hug too!

November 29, 2012 at 8:34 pm #67059lainySpectatorGav, no sooner said than done!! Go Pack Go! My 3 favs from Milwaukee were here for their 16th Thanksgiving with me. So, Sunday night we always go to our favorite Restaurant, Vincitorios. They kept watching their Ipods for the score and Giants drew 1st blood! So Neil, Stan and Jeanne look at me and tell me to ask T for his help. I did and within 3 seconds of asking, we get a touchdown! They are not believers but screamed. Sadly we lost anyway, T must have gone to get food!
Say, I don’t like this chest infection thing, we just wrote yesterday! Tell Mum I said she better get rid of it or I will have to come there! But give her a hug too.November 29, 2012 at 8:01 pm #67058gavinModeratorHa! No surprises there then Marion!!
Thanks Lulu. Think mums getting another chest infection so she is back on the prednisilone and amoxycillin as of today. Hopefully they will work. Yes your Giants do look good, especially the D again. Playoffs should be gooood this year, assuming that we all get there! Cue Lainy to appear here very soon and start shouting about her cheeseheads and all that!!
Hugs,
Gavin

MarionNovember 28, 2012 at 10:15 pm #67055gavinModeratorWill do Percy. Mum has another app at the hosp with the lung specialist on Dec 18th to see about the oxygen. She wants it now and feels that she needs it.
Sunday was a tough one for us, lots of injuries but the 1st half I thought we were real good! Need Forte back and to get that line sorted, again! No shocks there that we struggle with the O line again!
Absolutely baltic here now. Today was sunny, but that means clear skies and the temps dive overnight, icy and frosty start tom A.M.
Brrrrrr………….
Stay warm and Go Bears!

November 28, 2012 at 10:02 pm #67054pcl1029MemberHi, Gavin,
no problem, but it won’t help the BEARS. San Francisco is the golden gate that the BEARS must pass through in order to have a chance.
Be sure to say hi to your mum for me. Here become colder in Chicago ,but sunny today.God bless.
November 28, 2012 at 9:43 pm #67053gavinModeratorThanks for the links Percy. I copied some of them over on FB as well.
