Was poking around on pubmed the other day and found a couple of interesting new research avenues. This study shows that cordycepin, a compound found in a species of fungus, can be used to sensitize cholangiocarcinoma cells making them vulnerable to attack by immunotherapies (at least in a lab setting). Here’s hoping we see it move successfully into treatment of humans!
