Susie, good wishes and prayers for a great scan! And belated happy birthday wishes.
I recently bought a new blender for smoothies, too. Not a Vitamix, tho. Now to get an aloe plant. Have a friend who swears by a little aloe in the smoothies. I use spinach, banana, strawberry, and blueberry most often. Looks horrible, but you can’t taste the spinach.

And happy birthday to you, too, Gavin!

    Go Susie!
Here’s to a great 34th year and a clean bill of health. Your vacations sounded wonderful as do you. Keep up the fancy blended smoothies and soups and perhaps share a fave recipe…
    Cheers and Salud!

Hi Susie, belated Happy Birthday and a clean scan would be the best gift ever!
You certainly have been a busy girl and when someone wants a little hope all they have to do is look at you!

    Marion,

I must have missed that your daughter had Hodgkin’s. I’m very sorry to hear that but wishing you both the best. Glad to hear she is done with treatment.

And, yes, the Vitamix is a pricey investment, but man do I love it.

Thanks for the never ending support.

Susie…..You know that everything under the moon is heading your way. A happy 34th, dear Susie – perfect timing for great news.
My daughter (38) has completed chemotherapy for Hodkins Lymphoma and speaks equally as highly of her Vitamix. She throws in different types of organic vegetables and due to the heating process; the soup can be ladled right out of the blender. These things are rather expensive though.
Back to you, dear Susie; fingers and everything crossed for the absolute best Birthday present yet to come your way – a clean scan.
    Hugs,
    Marion

It’s that time again. Ct and blood work on Monday. It will be 2.5 years after my resection.
Of course, I am nervous already. Prayers are appreciated.

I have been feeling well and have been having lots of fun. I just turned 34 a few days ago. I went to eastern Europe for 2 wks in September, so that was pretty great. I also went to San Diego over the summer and saw the zoo and Sea World. Lots of good trips and time with family and friends. I still work from home full time. I’m not on any medications.

I recently purchased a Vitamix, which is the best thing ever. For those of you who may be unfamiliar, it is a heavy duty blender and makes great smoothies. I wish I had it during treatment when my appetite was not so great.

I’ll keep you all posted. Take care.

    Susie
