So very sorry to hear about your daddy. How very lucky he was to have a daughter like you and a loving family to help him with his Journey home. Our prayers are with you and your family.

    Patsy,

Surrounded by love is what everyone hopes for, I really feel that as we accompany someone who is dying, we bear witness to their life. You are in my prayers.

My Daddy passed to heaven yesterday January 14, 2009 at 11:25 a.m. He was surrounded by love as he took his final breath. We moved him to Haven Hospice house Monday, he was in so much pain. He suffered so much close to the end, until they could get his pain under control. But for his last 12 hours of this life, he slept peacefully.

I will write more later when I can – I want to share the details of his last few days with this awful cancer. It is so unpredictable and different for everyone.

Thank you for reading my post.

    Smiles through tears,
    Patsy
