    Sending my deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your Dad. i know your pain, my Dad passed away nearly 2 years ago and I still ache to touch him and talk to him.

    I am sorry for your loss, I lost my dad on May 19th as well. My mother wishes he would have made it out of the hospital like yours, but in the end it all just plain sucks. Stay strong and always remember how great a person he was to you.

    Dear Kim, I am so very sorry to hear about your dad. It is good that the end went quickly and he got his wish to stay home until the last hours. He is now at Peace and I am sure he is grateful for your loving care. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

    I just wanted to post and let you all know that we lost our dad on the 23th May, 2011. He went down hill very quickly in the end. From being able to care for himself on the Tuesday to hospital saturday and passed on the Monday. although this was not easy to watch, i am so grateful that it all ended fairly quickly and that the 3 of us (my brother and sister) were there with him. He wanted to die at home and in the end was only in hospital for 48hrs… so i don’t think we did too badly.
    I just wanted to thank you all for your love and support and say that i feel wholeheartedly for anyone fighting this horrid disease.
    I will post again about Dads final days as i know that i was looking for this kind of information myself.
