Good news certainly does inspire us all. Yaaaaaay for the shrinkage. And even more best wishes for the cyberknife treatment.

Here’s hoping you will be posting on this thread again when the cyberknife is completed and successful.

    Hi Lu,
That’s great news indeed! Thanks for sharing. I’m sure good news inspires all of us. Just curoius… Is your Dad’s doctor Henry Kaplan? The reason I ask is that Kaplan is my onc. Prayers for ongoing success for your Dad.

    Good morning!

We finally have some awesome news. My dad is Dr. Kaplan’s unofficial “poster boy” for cc. It has taken 4 months to get the diagnosis and then Chemo and radiation, cyberknife starts next week. The scans last week showed the tumor has significantly shrunk. And dad has perfect lab results. Not even anemia per Dr. K. So for us, since dad is not a surgical candidate, it shows we can keep shrinking the tumor when we need to and as long as the right side stent/duct keeps functioning we can go on like this for years. Yay daddy! He is working and working out. Friday was a great day! Sunny too!

    Thanks,

    Lu and (Jen too)
