Dear Kris, Hans and all of your family!
Just wanted you to know you are all in my thoughts and prayers daily as the surgery date approaches.
I can’t imagine how you’re feeling Kris, but we (your CC family) are all here with you!

Oh Kris, I remember having almost that same conversation with Butch, and know how difficult this is for you both right now. Just keep remembering that you are young and strong, and we will all ask God prayerfully to “kick Leroy’s (and Junior’s) butt”. We are with you in spirit.

NancyI havent heard too much yet. Iwill meet with part of the team on Wednesday. The 3 ways it can go are 1) I die on the table 2) They cant do anything and close me back up or 3) the remove Leroy and Jr.

I agree, whine and vent all you want. We are all here for you. I know you are trying to be realistic and that is a good thing. I am hoping that with your attitude and all of us behind you good will win out. For now, enjoy what you have and live it for all your worth!
I know about the selfish thing and wanting more. When Jim passed on I often said that he is in a better place and no longer suffering & in pain, but I’m selfish, I wanted more.
Just know that we are all on your team and if thoughts and prayers can make it happen, it will.

Whining, venting, whatever you chose to call it, it’s ok to get it out. You are a realist with “buckets of hope”. I’m with Lainy – prayers are coming from the US.

Hi Kris, I cannot begin to imagine what you are going through. I do know that my kids keep telling me if I don’t think positive then positive things won’t happen. Got to admit though, that what ever I think, positive things have happened! But it does feel better to have positive thoughts. OK, so I am just rambling because I have no words of wisdom to tell you except that you know we are all thinking of you constantly and sending good thoughts your way. We ALL LOVE you!
When T had his BIG surgery in Milwaukee and we were far from our Sun Lakes Community in AZ, I have to tell you we did feel the concern and prayers and thoughts so I am really counting on you to feel all of us rooting for you, because we are.Hi Kris,
Sorry for not writing sooner but I was away with no email access for a week. I join all the others here in sending you all my thoughts, prayers, and very best wishes. And I hope you are enjoying the heck out of every minute of every day. None of us knows what the future will bring– all we have is NOW– and I hope you and Hans are spending as much of it as possible doing all the things you love. (Plus, another way to look at it is: three mostly doctor-free weeks! There’s a lot to be said for that.)
