Beth……Good luck on Friday and keep your chin up. Dr. Hawkins will get to the bottom of this.
I am sending tons of good wishes your way,

    Beth,
Sending prayers right now for a solution to Dave’s current issues as well as for the cause to be a pesky scar tissue blockage – it doesn’t need to be a “recurrence”. May God bless the Graff household and show Himself to be mighty on your behalf.

    Grace and Peace,

Hi Ladybug. We are hoping and praying for you to get some resolve this week so that Dave gets better very quickly. Sure sounds like a repeat performance and if that is what it is they can get to it right away. Sending our best your way!

Dave is dealing with some issues right now, issues that I hope to address this week. For about 2 weeks, we have been dealing with him not sleeping much at all. Pretty much trying to get comfortable had been a chore for him. He is thinner, and with his belly and the hernia, trying to get in a position to rest for the night makes it tough. For about a week, he has not really had much of an appetite, and when he does eat, he gets full rather quickly. He tries though, as he knows he must eat. I got him a high protein drink that he has been drinking daily to add more calories and protein to his diet. For the last two days, the nausea has gotten worse, and last night, it peaked. We were at the Graff cousin wedding reception, and he just got sick very quickly. He had to go outside to get some air, and told me that it was at its worst. We left shortly after that. Last night at home…he battled it. He never threw up, but it was a struggle. He slept better last night, and today he slept until 3 in the afternoon. When he got up, he was hungry, and wanted to watch the Dallas Cowboy’s football game. He is very tired, and his color is a bit…just a tiny bit yellow. I am concerned. If this is another blockage then just like he had back before cancer, they can put a stint in to allow the bile to flow freely and give him some relief. He felt so good when they did that last time prior to the surgery. Doc told us in June that he thought we may be having a reoccurence, so I suppose we need to know now, and not wait until the end of the month. I will keep you all posted.
