Beth: My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Dave fought a good fight as so many others have done. We need to find a cure for this terrible cancer that robs us of our loved ones too soon.

Dear Beth,

I just had a feeling about this today and when I saw the post I didn’t even want to go on and read what I knew was there. I am so sorry for your loss. We have all been through all the ups and downs with you and Dave and the determination, love & strength you all showed along the way. Although this is a difficult time for all of you, I will repeat what I have said so often. Dave is now at peace and no longer suffering and he will always be with you in your heart and memories. He will always be all around you. Thinking of you, Maycie and the rest of your family and praying for strength, comfort and peace for all of you in the days to come.

Oh my dear Beth and Maycie. I am so very sorry about Dave but know that you walked such a brave, caring and loving journey right by his side. Believe me I know what you are now feeling, first hand, and if you care to e mail me, please feel free. In a sad way I know that Dave has found his Peace. My prayers go out to you and your family with special hugs to Maycie.

Beth, I was saddened to hear Dave had passed. He fought such a courageous battle. I remember your post a few weeks ago when he just made your day. He was sitting up in bed and gave you a huge smile and asked you how you were. I know your heart is completely broke right now but just close your eyes and remember that handsome smile. I am praying for your family and especially Maycie.

Last night at 11:10 I lost my best friend…my soul mate and the only love I have ever know. He passed away the day before our 18th Wedding anniversary. I was with him…holding his hand, and I heard his heart beat its last beat. Prayers for our family, but mostly for sweet little Maycie, our 9 year old daughter.

He will be missed by us all.
