My mom has been with me every day since I got sick. That has been really helping my recovery. I’m feeling a little better every day and looking forward to getting the JP drain out of my abdomen. I lost 20 lbs the past few days just from getting rid of the water weight and swelling.
Don’t worry, I still have a few extra pounds to see me through

You have been through the ringer, and you are a tough cookie. Is your Mom still with you? Kids able to make it home from school to help you recover? I sure hope so. Sure feels that way. My docs (three of them in three separate visits) called me one tough cookie. I don’t feel so tough right now. Trying to recuperate from blood poisoning, pneumonia, internal bleeding, appendectomy, and additional surgery to control internal bleeding.
Trying to take it slow and easy.
