Thanks Marion. I know nothing can be changed and I accept that, just wondered. I fell asleep at 9PM tonight and awoke at 1130PM and now I am wide awake!!!

Lainy…..I can’t answer that question, but I do know that Teddy had made an informed decision. Would things be different now? I suppose that many of us think that way, but I have come to the conclusion that nothing can change the outcome for what it was.
    Hugs,

Thanks Marion and Gavin. Teddy had Distal CC and it was at the Ampulla of Vater and Duodenum. Also the 2 times it came back it came back to that place.
I have always wondered why 4 DOCs said no to chemo from the very beginning because “of the type of CC he had”. They said it would not work. This is the only thing I have always thought about. Any ideas on this? Of course this was 8 years ago. It’s like the one closure I never had.

Thanks, Gavin. CCA differs molecularly the three subgroups: Intrahepatic, Distal and Perihilar(Klatskin) This explains the varied drug response to drugs currently used for our patients and the role of molecular profiling.
