    I think you need to look at other indicators–appetite, food and liquid intake, weight, blood pressure, weakness, mobility, etc.

    I posted this also on General Discussion – wanted to see if someone who visited here may have some answers???

    Tomorrow my dad goes for his 3rd paracentesis in a month. The first one 12/8, they took off 11 liters of fluid, then on 12/29 they removed 9.5 liters of fluid and we go tomorrow for the third. With the fluid building up this quickly in his abdomen, does this mean we are close to the end? Just wondered if anyone has dealt with this before.
