Thanks Lainy,Kris and Gavin. It does help emotionally. I can’t imagine just sitting around just waiting. That’s just not acceptable to Dennis. Gotta love his stubborn personality. That’s.one of his best traits. Lol!! Gods still has us to lean on each other. Very grateful! ! Hang in there! !! Muaah! !

Glad to hear that Dennis has seen another onc and that he now has a plan in place with the Xeloda. My fingers and everything will be crossed that it works well for Dennis and please let us know how he gets on with it.

Teresa: Glad you have a plan. It helps emotionally, as well as physically, to know you are doing something.
You will be amazed at the people that will step up to help you. I know I was. And so many people that I don’t know, or barely know, that have stepped up to help me in many ways. It’s very humbling.
Good luck to you and Dennis. I pray the Xeloda will kick his cancer’s butt!!!

KrisTeresa, we are hoping for the very best as it is better to have a plan than not. Yes, it is amazing how family and friends can step forward and makes life a little easier. Excellent that you can take off work that certainly will help and I am wishing you both the very best. Please keep us posted, you know we care.
Well we seen another oncologist yesterday and Dennis has decided to do Xeloda two weeks on and one week off. We both know that it may not work but you gotta try something right?? This is very tough thing to deal with. I’m so thankful for you on this.site. I pray for you all and I ask God to direct us in our journey. I have taken time off work to care for him and to be there for my kids. Lots of friends and family have been around visiting which is awesome! We’ll see where this takes us.
