So sorry to hear of the loss of your dear Moms. Sounds like you both had wonderful relationships with your mothers and will have many fond memories to look back on once the initial hurt and sorrow ebbs.

I feel your pain. My Mom also passed away on Tuesday. She only had one chemo treatment which seemed to make her worse. She was diagnosed in September. We took care of Mom at home. I tried to research every possible option to makes things better, but it was not meant to be. I will treasure my time spent with Mom, especially the last 3 years of which I did not work so we were together every day.
I did not want her to suffer any longer and her illness did not allow her to be herself.
I know how you feel.
Bless youFebruary 24, 2012 at 8:13 pm #58084gavinModeratorDear Shar,

Of her love, and hold in memory
All the happy times you spent together.February 24, 2012 at 1:59 pm #6422sharMemberMom passed away on Tuesday. I can’t believe how fast this progressed for her (6 months from diagnosis). My siblings and I were talking yesterday wondering if we should have passed on the chemo so (maybe) her time she had would have been better. I guess we will never know.
My mom was widowed 31 years ago by this monster called cancer. She raised her family and kept the family together on her own. She was an amazing women whom I will miss greatly.
My prayer is that someday we can see the end to this awful disease.
I love you Mom.
