We’ve made it to the end of the road with my mother. She sadly passed from this type of cancer on Oct 25th. Found this site to get some support from people who have gone and are going through this situation. It’s a very rare cancer so this website is genius.
My mom was 53 when she was diagnosed and lived almost 4 years with it. She was so strong and fought through the pain, radiation, chemo, and stent replacements. She was in hospice care for 6 weeks and thank the good Lord above went away peacefully with no major pain. The Hospice people were truly God-sent.
I still feel empty and don’t fully understand this cancer, as Im not sure I ever will.
