    This explains (to some extent) why targeted drugs have limitations as it addresses one mutation only. Some chemo drugs are used in combination with targeted drugs.

    A 3.5 centimeters in diameter contained more than 100 million distinct mutations? Does it matter? Are those that are targeted and respond evolve to be the strongest and dictate cell mutations?
