    Dear Bob,

I am so sorry to hear that your Sheila has passed. You fought so long and hard to find a treatment to help her. Any woman would be lucky to have a man that stood beside her, the way you did for Sheila. What a blessing that she got to leave this world in the loving arms of you, her dear husband. You were her comfort and strength to the end. You are a wonderful man. God bless you and may Sheila find peace in her eternal life.

    Bob ,

You have my deepest sympathy. I’m glad you were able to be there to help her through as she passed. No words can help at a time like this, but know that I am thinking of you and take some comfort in knowing that Sheila is no longer suffering or in pain. She will always be with you in your heart and memeories.

    Love & HUgs,
    Darla

Bob, I am so very sorry about Sheila. Please accept my heartfelt sympathies. I am happy that you got to hold her as she passed as I did Teddy as well. They do know we did that and they do know how loved they were.

If I should be the first to go,
And leave you alone, my Dear,
Let not your heart be lonely,
Nor in your eyes a tear.
Grieve not for me, my Darling,
    I’ll not be far away,
With petals of love and tenderness,
I’ll pave for you the way.
To join me in our sanctuary,
    And ne’er again we’ll part.
Grieve not for me, my Darling,
    I live within your heart.
    Take joy again in living,
    As you did in years gone by;
God knows what of he’s doing,
    And not be questioned why.
Grieve not for me, my Darling,
My life with you on earth
    Each moment filled with happiness,
And love so few be worth.
I’ll be waiting for you Sweetheart
    Where skys are ever blue,
With eager heart and open arms
    Patiently, for you.
Grieve not for me, my Darling,
May faith and my love keep.
    Your soul filled with contentment
Eternally, I sleep. By Mary Harris

I just wanted to let you all know that Sheila passed away on the 21st of March after battling CC for over 2 1/2 years. She fouoght long and hard, but as we all know, there is no victory with this disease. The last few weeks were incredibly difficult for her. I kept her home and had some hospice care the last 3 days. She did pass away as I held her in my arms so I can only hope that she could feel the love as she moved on. I want to thank everyone on this website for all the help and wonderful information. I would have been lost had I not been able to learn from everyone’s journeys. WIshing the best for everyone conected here in any way, Bob
