My onc brought up getting genome testing in September and said she thought it would be at no charge to me. Well, got a wake up call today. Apparently, it is not free, but rather $5800. Somehow the clinic did not bother to ask for a pre-authorization. Insurance company has now rejected the claim because it was not a necessary process. I sense some serious discussions with the cancer center in the near future.

Those of you who have had testing done by FoundationOne, did your insurance cover it? If so, who was the insurance company?
