    Hi Brenda,

I have been reading your blog, and today before I even clicked on it, I said, I hope they have a liver for Scott. Wow!! How wonderful! I really hope everything goes well for him, and he has a speedy recovery. I love reading your blog!

Brenda – I have been keeping up with your blog for a while now and was so excited this morning when I read Scott had gotten the transplant. I hope that they are able to to remove the vent and his pain is controllable. Please know that you, Scott and your enitre family are in my thoughts and prayers. – Colleen

The liver is in! They will try to take Scott off the ventilator in the morning. No sign of cancer, but we won’t know for sure until the biopsy, or whatever they are looking at, comes back on Thursday. It’s more intense than I had imagined, but so hopeful I can’t complain.

Thanks for all your love, support, and prayers,
    Brenda

ps I’m keeping the blog up to date for all my family and friends. You all are both and invited. bbfranson.blogspot.com

They just took Scott back for transplant. The dr wanted us to know the potential scenarios of what would happen if he found cancer outside the liver. Scott has opted to give the liver to someone else and probably wouldn’t survive the operation if that happens. The good news is that the risk is quite slim. He should do great.

I’m fried from the adrenaline overload. I’m pretty sure the intensity of this gig has shaved years from my life and added them to my hiney.

Heaven help us all get through the excruciatingly long days, and the longer nights.

    God Bless,
    Brenda
