I am so very sorry for your loss. I am glad you and your family had the time with Gary at the end – I know how much that means. As others have said, we have the memories of our loved ones in our hearts, and one day we all be together again.

I am so sad to hear about Gary’s passing. I am glad that you both were able to have time with loved ones. I am also glad that you had a good experience with hospice, we did too. This is such a difficult time in your life, and we are all here for you.Amy

Our heartfelt sympathies to you and your family on the loss of Gary. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers daily.
We feel so blessed that we have been able to connect with you and Gary as we have traveled down this horrific journey and I am so glad that Lenny and Gary were able to talk over the phone. I just wish we could have met thru different circumstances. Sadly, I am on the same path as you and I know that as Lenny gets weaker by the day, I too will be in the same situation. My heart truly breaks for you Elaine and I certainly can relate so much to how you feel as we share so much in common.
Please know that you and Gary have been such an inspiration to us all with much faith, strength and encouragement even on the darkest days. We know that Gary is now with the Lord and we will rejoice in knowing this as well as knowing that we will see him again. Even though Lenny and Gary have not met face to face, I know that they will know each other in heaven and will have lots to talk about.
Their spirits will live on thru us and hopefully one day you and I can make a difference in this rare and vicious cancer in honor of our beloved husbands.
I am always here for you and please call me anytime night or day. You are an amazing woman of God and your strength is witnessed by many. God will never forsake you and you will never be alone…..He is always there keeping us glued together by His grace.

I am so sorry to hear that Gary has passed on. I had been following your posts but couldn’t bring myself to reply as I had feared the worst, but hoped for the best and didn’t want to risk any negativity. After what you and Gary have endured, know that you both did your best and that atleast now he will no longer suffer from this awful disease. Try to take comfort in knowing that he has gone on to a better place & is no longer in pain. Remember that he will always be with you in your heart and memories. It does sound as if his last days were full of love & comfort for all.
Know that I am thinking of you and your family as you now travel through this time of grieving. Please post when you can and know that we are all here for you.
