The same here, Lainy. Nothing can replace a personal touch when meeting up with CC members. And, of course, Teddy and you will be at the next upcoming conference in Phoenix although, I don’t know when that is. We have to make sure to have a name tag for Teddy….and, in it’s entirity spelled out.

Marion, how great!!!! Oh, I wish we could also be there….but we are waiting for the next one here in Phoenix. I can still feel the joy of meeting you and feeling so much more connected to this wonderful Board. No one can imagine the feeling if one has never met with someone from this Board. Its beyond and way over the top!

Hello Debbie and thank you so very much for your offer. This conference will be attended by Barbara, Sandie, and Karen. You are a wonderful addition. I will e-mail you and we can work out the particulars.
    Hugs and thanks,
    Marion

    Hi Marions,
I live about 20 minutes south of Philadelphia in New Jersey. Where can I find more information on the conference in October? My husband has CC, diagnosed in June, 2008. He is a patient at Fox Chase Cancer Center.
I would like to attend or help at the booth for the foundation.
I appreciate any information you can give me.

Thank you Lulu. So many of us have this heavy burden of loss we must bear. I follow the site daily, just can’t always bring myself to participate. Thank you for reaching out and I look forward to meeting you at the conference.
    Peace,
    Karen

    Karen,

I am so sorry, I didn’t realize you also lost your husband. I haven’t been on the site regularly, I must have missed it. Its just friggen horrible, I don’t even know what to say to you–my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I too live very close to Philadelphia..infact I work in the city. I would love to help out in anyway that I can. By October I will be a little over 6 months beyond the loss of my husband to this terrible disease and would love to help advocate and become more involved.

Lu….thank you so very much. I have e-mailed you. Barbara is lovely and the circumstances are very much the same. Lu, no one expects you to be anything but what you are which is wonderful.

I am about 1 1/2 hours from Philly, I am very interested in becoming involved and would love to attend. I’m still struggling with the lose of my husband, but I desperately want to become an advocate for this cancer to honor him.

Our Barbara from New Hempshire will be attending the upcoming conference. Is anyone living nearby? If so, you would be welcome to meet up with Barbara to help out at the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation exhibit booth or, if you so wish, simply stop by and say “hello”.
