    I like the 1.4 bilirubin. We sure love good news around here. We pray that it will keep coming.

    Great news! I had to smile at the “only gemzar” comment. I remember when my Dad’s oncologist called one of the drugs “chemo light”. :)

    Hope the good news keeps on coming!

    That is fantastic news. I am especially excited to hear about the improvements with the kidneys.

    Hi Everyone,
    Just wanted to post our good news.

    First mom had her first chemo on Monday and had minimual side effects, Thank God. Of course it’s only gemzar because of her kidneys but at least it’s something.

    But yesterday she went to have her tubes tweaked and we found out that her kidneys are actually getting stronger. Still her GFR is in the twenties but it’s up from 16 last week. Plus her billrubion is down to 1.4!

    It was a pretty exciting day. Dr said her drains look fine and she is draining internally well!

    Mayo on Jan 3rd!
