So glad the trip was everything that you both wanted from it. How lovely that everyone gave gifts.
Since Pam has decided you are having Kris’ cats, then maybe you could also take 2 noisy dogs from me to complete the picture?!!! They’re driving me round the bend.

PamWelcome back Ted and Lainy. I’m so pleased that you had a good trip to Wisconsin. It sounds like it was just what the Dr. ordered and you all had some very good quality time together. I just wish it was under better circumstances for you. I think the idea of consulting with Hospice is great, if they think that Teddy could benefit. I’ve thought many times about calling them myself.

Glad to see you back. I agree with Margaret. Although I would have loved to get together and meet you both, The quality of time spent with family is much more important. Welcome back! I’m glad to hear that you both enjoyed your trip and that you made it back safely, but as you say, bittersweet. And I thought of you both as well when you were away. Hoping that you can manage to get the onc app moved forward, and as you say, getting ahead of the game sounds like a good idea to me.

Lainy and Teddy, I am so glad you enjoyed your vacation. I can’t imagine the emotions that you both have gone through. I keep you both in my prayers every night and love you both so much.

You better believe that we thought of you and Teddy each day as well. I certainly wish we could have met both of you, but in view of everything, it’s better that Teddy devoted his time to his immediate family.
Tom and I are taking a trip to Flordia in about 4 weeks to spend time with his niece, it should be a fun time for both of us.
Give Teddy our love and prayers.

Got in late last night and our trip was just wonderful. Teddy spent so much quality time with the kids and it was beautiful if bittersweet. He gave out all his little packages to each one and in turn they each gave him a little something to hold from them. Many memories were made. Teddy is starting now to loose a little weight, he gets more tired, a mixture I guess of pills and CC. Attitude is still outstanding! Next ONC visit is August 27th but I may move it up to see if we should start some Hospice visits just to be ahead of the game. Everyone thought he looked good so maybe its all a bad dream? Give me a day to settle in here and I will be back on track. I actaully thought about all of you every day.
