    Hi Susan,

I remember when my daughter, Lauren first had scans, she would always have significant shrinkage. Then when she was stable with no shrinkage, I thought it was the end of the world. That was way back when I didn’t know better. Stable is almost as good as shrinkage. Hopefully, there will be shrinkage in the future and surgery can take place. Please try not to worry and keep a positive attitude. Hoping and praying for the best.

    Hugs,
    -Pam

    Hi Susan,

I sure wish that you had some shrinkage to report but lets look at the positives here, stable is good like Lainy and Randi mention. I was there with my dad too after he got his CT after his PDT, tumour was stable and like you I was disappointed at the time. But lets stay positive and my fingers are crossed that your next report does mention shrinkage.

    Hugs,

    Gavin

    Hi Susan,

I can totally understand your disappointment in not moving that darn tumor but stable is still very good. And maybe it’s just on the verge of shrinking. We schedule these scans and they are really just a single point in time.

Here’s hoping for shrinkage at the next scan!

Sorry about that, Susan but stable is a good thing. You might want to ask the ONC if he considers changing up the chemo or perhaps another treatment like Cyber Knife. There are many options out there now and perhaps its time for something different. Be strong.

Hi , mom got her results today there is no new cancer but the original site is not budging, it hasn’t grown but it hasn’t shrunk. If it doesn’t shrink it can’t be removed…. Dont get me wrong i am so thankful it hasn’t spread just still a little disappointed .
    Susan
