Hi Everyone, We got the results of my husbands PET Scan yesterday and it was great news. He has been on Gem/Cis and Zomeda for 4 months and it seems to be working. The 3 tumors in his back show no activity. The 2 tumors in his lungs are gone and the largest tumor in the liver has shrunk from 9cm to 6.2 cm. The other 2 tumors in the liver have also shrunk and show only minimal activity. They are going to reduce the chemo from every week to every other week. So maybe my guy can now have some quality time.
We still plan on seeing Myron Schwartz for another opinion for ongoing treatment and a also a homeopath.
These past months have been such a roller coaster of emotions. It’s been great for me to be able to check this website daily and realize that we are not alone in our battle. Thank you all for sharing your lives and stories on this site. It’s really a blessing.Peony
