Jim and Kristin:
Here’s hoping for clean scans for both of you. I LOVE to hear good news. We still get very nervous when that dreaded appointment comes around. From the beginning, Ron’s oncologist only does one scan a year and then a follow up blood work only appointment every 6 months. We started out with CT scans but he now does a PET scan every other time.

What great news for you to share!! I myself am 7 months post resection and then 4 months of chemo. I am getting ready to go to my 3 month post chemo scans and praying for the same results as you. Please continue to post good news because us fighters need to hear it. Best wishes to you both.October 16, 2010 at 4:39 pm #41397jim-wildeMember

Great news I am a cc survivor. I was diagnosed July 2008 and told only hope was liver transplant. I under went chemo, chemo and radiation and oral chemo. I rec’d my first liver on May 24,2009 making me cancer free! I rec’d my second liver July 2009, after my hepatic artery burst due to radiation damage. I was given 36 hours to live or find a liver and thanks to the power of pray and the worlds greatest surgeons at Barnes-Jewish Hospital (St. Louis, MO.) I survived. I am there walking miracle! I made my first trip solo to walmart in Aug 2010, it has been a long 2 years, but I am proof there is a God. Keep praying and don’t give up!!!September 7, 2010 at 5:13 pm #41390linda-zParticipant
