Grover…know that we are thinking of you and that we can wait for the brain function to coincide with the typing mechanism of your fingers. I know how tough it is to move around, but it really helps to do so. It aids in the digestion and healing Don’t forget to cough – pillow pressed against abdomen.
    Hugs,

Nice to hear from you, Grover, even if spelling (typing??) isn’t your forte today. You’ll be feeling pretty normal before you know it! You must be progressing well to be in a regular room.

Shardy, thank you so very much. I can tell this wonderful apple didn’t fall far from the amazing tree it came from! What a wonderful family you all are! We are over the moon about Dad’s recovery and wish for the absolute continued success. Tell him to take his time but he CAN post to us about 3PM today..one whole page. Just kidding. I am wondering who now has the Prayer Pants? Love, hugs and the best of everything to come!

I’m back. But for typing not so long. Having a hard time fucosing on finger tip typing as opposed to brain function. Regaining strength everyday

Will try to return later,, Captain

    Suzanne,

I can’t tell you how happy we are to hear of your Dad’s great progress. Maybe grouchy is a good thing, probably means he is a fighter!! I can’t believe your sweet, funny Dad could ever be grouchy. Well, maybe. My daughter is the sweetest thing in the world, but some of the drugs they give her make her pretty darn grumpy at times. We wish you all the best. Can’t wait to hear from the Captain, himself.

    Love, -Pam & Lauren

Suzanne….thanks for the great update. And, oh the joys of knowing of the perfect bile color. Great, great, news.
I have copied your e-mail address although, “grouchy” may find out, but we will deal with this later (if we so have to.)
In the meantime encourage your Dad to clear those lungs (pillow held against abdomen) and expect each and every day to be a bit better for him.
Sending tons of hugs and love,
    Marion

this was may most recent update on his blog – I have my own account HERE, so I can continue to type anything I want – LOL! I just want to say again – this site is amazing! You all truly continue to surprise me with all your love and support for our family! Much love to you all!

    3.45pm
well, this could be me last post (on his blog)…grouchy dad thinks he will be able to post later today. I have a feeling that these is a good chance that he could change his password – hopefully he can remember what he changes it to!

He is now in a regular room. His surgeon, Dr. House has been in and loved the color of the bile that is draining from his tube! His oncologist, Dr. Helft came in and looked over his charts and said “Mr. Guthridge, you’re perfect”! Mom has had breakfast and lunch and the nurse will be bringing in a cot for her latter today.

If any of his posts don’t make sense, please feel free to contact me @ hardysuzanne@yahoo.com – I will be happy to translate!

PS – copy that address quickly – he could erase it as soon as he reads it!!! LOL

Again – God Bless you all – your love and support is incredible! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Mom and Dad are both humbled by your continued thoughts and prayers.

    xoxo,
    Suzanne

Suzanne, all that plumbing stuff will start to disappear soon. That’s just a detail and necessary for the time being, gross as it appears. Give him our regards, and being a little grouchy is just fine. Give him our regards. Barring any complications, sounds like he will be heading home next week. Thanks for the great report.

    Suzanne:
Thanks so much for the update. Grouchy is understandable. I’m just so glad to hear he’s sitting up today! And out of ICU. What great news!
Grover: keep up the good work! I’m sure you’ll be reading this soon.
