January 11, 2011 at 1:09 am #46669nur1954SpectatorMaria – Welcome to this website. I agree with all the posts above. My son also had chemoembolizations which did help to reduce tumors. You sound like quite the fighter and that is what matters most! Good for you in keeping up your health in every way possible. Keep us posted and check back often for answers to all your concerns and questions….you’ll find them here among the wonderful supporters of this group. Best wishes – Nancy

I also wish to welcome you to this site and as Lainy mentioned I suggest you look up Kris’s posts (under devoncat). She was a real inspiration to us all here and posted details of her treatment in Sweden, which will help to inform you as you deal with this cancer. I love your attitude…the battle with CC is more a marathon than a sprint.Come back often and tell us how your doing…………………..Gerry
January 10, 2011 at 8:00 pm #46667gavinModeratorHi Maria,
Welcome to the site. Sorry you had to find us all but glad that you have joined us. And thank you so much for sharing your story with us all. I’m hearing a lot of positive talk from your post and also seeing a lot of positive action as well and I like all of that a lot!
That is great to hear of some shrinkage from your last scan and I will keep my fingers crossed that this continues for you. You have a great positive attitude and it is also great that you went back to work part time and that you are running. You say you are running slower now but you will still be running faster than me!!
I do hope that you keep coming back here and if you have any questions then please ask away and we will all help if we can. Looking forward to hearing more from you and getting to know you more.
Best wishes,
Gavin
January 10, 2011 at 6:14 pm #46666slittle1127MemberHi Maria – Your positive post is heartwarming. Welcome to our family. We are here for you to share your feelings, positive and negative, ask questions, whatever. What good news that your tumor shrank. So pleased for you. You are in good condition and seem to be doing the right things – nutrition and exercise. Good for you! Please continue updating your status or just coming back to chat. Blessings and prayers going out for you. Susan
January 10, 2011 at 6:09 pm #46665lainySpectatorHello Maria and welcome to our wonderful family. I don’t see how you cannot win with your attitude. I have a suggestion. Not sure where you are located in Sweden but if you are near where our dear Kris was you could take a look at her posts and get the names of the doctors she went to. She went to only the best and if she didn’t like what she was told she went to another. Getting other opinins is highly recommended around here. Sorry you had to join us but glad you found us. Please keep us posted.
