P.S. Some of the best doctors are at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota…..there are other hospitals/doctors mentioned on many of the message boards here. Spend some time, if you can, reading through previous posts. Good luck…..

You might want to consider contacting Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Geschwind at Johns Hopkins conducts chemo-embolization procedures (TACE) that were successful in reducing my son’s tumor. I assume you may be in the Maryland area? Unfortunately, my son succombed to CC in October 2009. However, we explored every option and I know that you will want to as well. There is nothing worse than having a child sick with this disease. Your “name” hit a spot with me. I too was a “frantic mom”. If you ever need to chat, my email is “nur1954@gmail.com”

    Please keep us posted.

I just joined your group and we are looking for any advice we can get. My 34 year old daughter was diagnosed with stage IV cc in September. We have gone through 2 different rounds of chemo. Nothing has worked. We have been turned down for the test trials in Bethesda, her cancer is too advanced. We are running out of options. Does someone out there have any suggestions as to an expert in this rare type of cancer?
