MelindaFebruary 11, 2015 at 12:45 am #86254chezwrightaol-comSpectatorWonderful news, Anne-Marie. I hope you are enjoying a bit of Australia! All visitors there that I know, love it! Hopefully you are recovered from the surgery and getting on with life.
February 10, 2015 at 8:05 am #86253anna-marie1SpectatorThank you all for celebrating the good news with me! PFOX2100 my second lesion was also on the opposite side and smaller than before. It was confirmed Cholangiocarcinoma. Will be thinking of you when you go in for your second resection. I trust that all will go well.

February 6, 2015 at 8:18 pm #86251pfox2100MemberHi Anne-Marie, we are in similar situations. I had a resection last January and about to go for a second resection next week. This time my lesion is much smaller and is on the opposite side of my liver than the last time. Did they confirm after your second resection that the lesion was indeed cancer?
Well blessings and hugs to you, you’ve been through a lot and I am very happy that you were able to have your surgeries and now healing and living your life to the fullest.

February 6, 2015 at 2:20 am #86246anna-marie1SpectatorDear Friends, I saw the surgeon again after my second liver resection in October 2014. The results of the CT scan showed that there were NO sign of cancer! I am overjoyed and very grateful! I have more time to be with my family and to live my life. I will go for another CT scan in 4 months.
Moderators, thank you once again for your support!

January 15, 2015 at 12:02 pm #86244anna-marie1SpectatorWhat a warm and wonderful welcome! Thank you so much Lainy, Gavin, Julie, Darla, Duke, Marion, Kris and Melinda for your kind words and encouragement. You have obviously all been affected in some way or another by cholangiocarcinoma. It will be interesting to hear your stories as I study the pages/topics on this site. I just wish I found it sooner! May God bless you all.

Along with everyone else I would like to welcome you to the group. We are a greatly positive group of people who will try to answer any question posed. And do not feel that there is a silly or stupid questions…..there are none with this disease. It can be such a roller coaster of up’s and down’s. My husband is an almost 2 year survivor of this disease. He had his surgery in June of 2013 and in May of 2014 was finally done with all the chemo and radiation treatment. Now it’s only anxiety before tests and scans.Keep us posted.
KrisVJanuary 14, 2015 at 4:19 am #86241marionsModeratorAnne-Marie….already you have received a warm welcome from all. I would like to add mine as well. Remember, you don’t have to shoulder your anxiety alone -we are here with you, all the way.
Hugs,
Marion -
