    Kathy,
    I have to agree. I wouldn’t wish this or any other cancer on my worst enemy. It is evil in nature using our own natural body processes to mame and destroy. It is from the pit of hell. However, God has turned it and used it in so many ways in my life that I wouldn’t trade the experince for anything. He has caused it to be an enriching experience so that even if it succeeds in shortening my life, it will not diminish my life. I hope that doesn’t sound too strange.

    We have very little control over what passes through our lives but we control how we respond to it.

    Tom feels some what the same. He doesn’t feel blessed to have this or any cancer but is glad that it is him and not me or one of our children. He has always said he wanted to go first. I just want him to hang around another 20 years before he goes anywhere!! Mary

    This may sound strange to some, but I know some here will understand:

    I am very blessed to have this cancer at 61 years of age with my youngest at 21.

    I also feel very blessed that I got bile duct cancer instead of one of my children.
