Cholangiocarcinoma is a difficult disease to diagnose and to treat. It is advisable to be evaluated by a tumor board consisting of: Hepatobiliary Surgeon or Surgical Oncologist, Transplant Surgeon, Radiologist, Interventional Radiologist, Medical Oncologist, Interventional Gastroenterologist, Hepatologists and Pathologist.
This team of physicians is found in major cancer centers.
