    An interesting article about the association of Helicobacter bilis infection and Extra-hepatic CCA.

    194 patients were included in the study, 44/103 were found to have H. bilis compared to 19/91 controls (Segura-Lopez et al., 2015).

    The article states that bacterial infections within the biliary tract initiate a chronic inflammatory process (within animal models) (Segura-Lopez et al., 2015).
