Its only contain in bile duct and few lymph nodes were involved. Liver is functioning at 100%. No tumors in the liver.
So far he is doing well.Celoi,
Did your father take supplements while on chemo? My father will be starting his first round with chemo. I want him to stay on the supplements, but the Doctor doesn’t want him to. The Dr.’s reason for this “in case it interfers” with chemo.

June 9, 2006 at 6:36 pm #14255celoiSpectatorHe started on CAAT Aug 05. He has been on a strick diet as outlined on the plan and taking the supplements recommended. His Alk Phos is now 160 ‘normal range is 1-150 and his tumor marker is now 6 or 7 normal range is 1-35.
My father was weighing 240 lbs and after diagnoses in a matter of 2 months was weighing 160 lbs. He was looking very fragile and week. Now he weighs 198 and look healthy.
Overall he his feeling better and drs said they can’t see cancer activity on ct scan. So we are going to try it a few more months as suggested and continue with diet and supplements.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.June 6, 2006 at 7:04 pm #14254stacieMemberCeloi,
We’ve looked into this as well as some others here on the website. Can you tell me if he has followed the diet strictly? How long he has been doing the CAAT diet? I’m really interested to know any details you have.
Thanks
