    Hi!

Tess, very interesting! I will have to check into it. I haven’t ever heard of that.

Kris, Your thoughts weren’t rude at all, I think that you are probably right on! Although you know how it is when you have any strange symptom your mind runs wild. Since Mom went to the dr and found out that it isn’t from the cancer, she is feeling better. Our mind can do strange things to us.

Hope that everyone has a nice weekend.

Thanks for the responses. It is so helpful to have everyone here who understands!

Hi Amylea, could be totally off the mark, but we’ve had 5th virus lately with a couple members of the family (both adults). It’s viral and causes extreme joint discomfort, as well as neck pain. Just thought I’d pass that on….

Hope your Mom is feeling better.

I am really not trying to be rude…but could the joint pain be just aging? I know that my mothers joints started to get stiff, painful in her mid 50s.

Amy…..great news. Hoping for the aches and pain your Mom is experiencing to disappear also.

Marion, Thanks for your response. Hearing the heartbeat is a fantastic sound!

Mom got the results of her cat scan, and things look good. There hasn’t been any change in the spots that she has. We will go back in 3 months for another scan, until then no chemo! The dr isn’t sure what is making her hurt, but at least it doesn’t look like it is from the cancer… yea!

    Have a nice day.

Amy, I don’t have an answer to your question however, when entering the words “joint pain” in the search function (top of the page,) some discussions showed up. You might find some information. Let me know if you need help.
I read your blog and am thrilled to know that you were able to hear the Baby’s heartbeat.

    Hi everyone!

Mom has been feeling great since quitting chemo until about a week ago. Her joints have really started aching. She is going for a cat scan today at 3:30. The dr said that many times after chemo patients develope arthritis. Any thoughts??

Sorry I don’t post more. I read daily. You all are an important part of my life!

    Amy
