John….I am happy to hear that you took on Dr. Fisher’s advice and are enjoying life to the fullest.
I also wanted to mention that the upcoming GI ASCO is in San Francisco this year. (It alternates between Florida and California.)
If you are interested in joining in for a day please, let me know. I have been granted an exhibit booth and am entitled to inviting three people. Sneezy has graciously offered her services and will be representing The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation also.
Oncologist from all over the world wide will be attending this informative event focusing solely on GI cancers.
    Best wishes,
    Marion

John Thomas, what great news just before Thanksgiving. What greater RX an there be beside a Granddaughter! Then add to that a trip to Maui. Keep up the good news.

I haven’t posted in a few months, although we visit regularly.

Since stopping chemo in March, I have been on a schedule of monthly bloodwork and quarterly scans. CT and MRI in May showed no disease progression. PETs in August and November were negative.

I was referred to Dr. George Fisher at Stanford. After a complete exam and history, he said to continue with this schedule. When necessary, we will start chemo again.

Our new grandaughter was a year old last week. We spent a week in Maui this summer. We can walk the beach every day!

    I am so grateful.
