    I am so very sorry to hear about Kris. She was extremely supportive during my beloved Jim’s illness. I thought she would live. I am crying for her but know that she is at peace.

    Walk – Thank you for putting my son John in the same category as Kris. They were similar in many ways — both had a great sense of humor and compassion for others. It does suck — these young people being taken from us from this horrid disease. I cried on and off since I heard the news about Kris. I relived everything from my end and I still am feeling down in the dumps. When will it end???? It does suck!!!!

    I will write the only thought in my head right now: that sucks. It is the same one that hit me with John Ur too. I guess because of their youth. I am sorry for Hans, but glad that the fight is over. Lord knows she gave it (and this board and everyone around her) her all.

    Like someone else posted, it is news like this that makes coming to this board so difficult.

    I first saw the news on facebook, and I must admit that I was completely shocked. I don’t know why I was so shocked, but I was. Of course, it was obvious that Kris has been struggling a lot lately, but I just felt that she was gonna beat this. My heart is broken for her family. Kris and I were the same age, and I thought that was part of our connection, but after reading what everyone has to say about her, it is obvious we all had that connection with her because she was such a kind soul.

    Today is a very sad day for us all on the cc board.

    Kris was a compassionate, caring and hugely supportive lady. I shall miss her words of wisdom greatly.

    RIP Kris….. Thinking of Hans, her parents and family.

    Thanks for posting this. I too am so sad to hear this. She was always so positive in her approach to life. She will be greatly missed here by all of us.

    I woke up this morning to see this post and my heart is broken. I always thought that Kris’s spirit reminded me so much of my son’s spirit in their fight against this disease. I told her that on many occasions and she was very touched by that. Everyone — and I mean EVERYONE — will miss her greatly. I can’t stop crying…..

    Hans has let us know that Kris died last night.She will be greatly missed by all of us,she was a great friend to all and always so very amusing and compassionate all in one package.We will all miss her greatly Janet
