Teresa,
I’m so sorry for the lose of Dennis. I lost my Mom to CC in April 2009 and it’s still very hard some days. I’m so thankful his passing was a peaceful one.
Please take care of yourself in the coming days. Grieving is the hardest job we ever tackle. No two people will grieve in the same way or timeframe. Please know we are all here for you as you take the next steps in this journey.
I’m sending hugs and prayers….

I am glad he had a peaceful death and you are your children were able to experience that. Somehow it brings comfort. The next while will be a blur. We will still be here for support when you need it. Hugs to you and your children. Nancy

You were awesome in this journey and I am sure he was overcome with love and pride for how you took care of everything. I am so pleased that he had a peaceful Passage and that you got to hold him. There is nothing that will ever take the place of those last few moments. My heart goes out to you and your family.
If I should be the first to go,
And leave you alone, my Dear,
Let not your heart be lonely,
Nor in your eyes a tear.
Grieve not for me, my Darling,
I’ll not be far away,
With petals of love and tenderness,
I’ll pave for you the way.
To join me in our sanctuary,
And ne’er again we’ll part.
Grieve not for me, my Darling,
I live within your heart.
Take joy again in living,
As you did in years gone by;
God knows what of he’s doing,
And not be questioned why.
Grieve not for me, my Darling,
My life with you on earth
Each moment filled with happiness,
And love so few be worth.
I’ll be waiting for you Sweetheart
Where skys are ever blue,
With eager heart and open arms
Patiently, for you.
Grieve not for me, my Darling,
May faith and my love keep.
Your soul filled with contentment
Eternally, I sleep.August 1, 2012 at 4:12 am #63366texasladyMemberTheresa, I am so sorry for the loss of your husband. I lost my mother Thursday to this dreadful disease. How beautiful that you and your children prayed over him and were with him when he took his last breath. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God Bless, Mona.
August 1, 2012 at 3:45 am #7176topcatjMemberDennis passed away yesterday morning. He went peaceful. My two older children and I prayed over him and saw him take his last breath at home. You all taught me about the what ifs and all I could do for him. I thank you for that. In his obituary I made a point about contributtions made to this website. Thank you all and God Bless!!
