    Kara,
    So sorry for your loss. When was your mother diagnosed, how old was she, what kind of treatment did she try? And finally what kind of symptoms did she experience towards the end? I’m trying to brace myself for what kinds of things to be on the look out as this disease progresses. My continued prayers for you and your family.

    Kara….I strongly believe for a cure to be out there…we need to push along, to be heard, and to make our cholangiocarcinoma family known to the medical community, and researchers in order to find an early detection and a treatment for this cancer. So sorry for your Mom having joined our loved ones who have lost the battle with this disease. My heart is with you.

    I want to thank everyone for their support. I do find myself still thinking this is all a dream. I guess I am still in the denial stage. This is an awful cancer, and I hope I never again have to watch someone go through what my Mom did. My Dad is the hero in this family. He has taken care of my Mom since day one of the diagnosis, and did everything for her in the end. The end came so fast that she was able to stay in the home in her own room and bed, which I know is what she wanted. Thank you again, I hope one day they find a cure for this wicked cancer.

    You are not alone and neither is your mother, she went in my mother’s company on July 31st.

    I am so sorry for your loss. I wish you peace in this trying time. I know words can’t heal the hurt for you, but you have my sympathy.

    Kara and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. My own father passed away 2 weeks ago today from this awful cancer. We buried him the day you lost your mom. I wish you peace for the days ahead, and God’s comfort for the times when you start for the phone to share your day.

    It is with heavy heart that I tell you my Mother passed away on July 31st. She was diagnosed last August. Her cancer had spread to her spleen and bones. She passed at home with her family around her. Thank you for all your support.
