    Dear Moontje,

    I am really sorry to hear this latest news from you. But please do not give up hope here. I know that this latest news from the scan will have hit you both really hard but please try and stay strong and positive. There are options available other than surgery and you will learn more about them once the biopsy results come back. Do not give up hope and you know that we are all here for you as well. Thinking of you and Tom right now.

    moontje…please try to relax. The biopsy results will shed a clearer picture on the situation. Often times a multidisciplinary team will be involved addressing each issue separately and yet together. Don’t think of it as “the end” rather, try to focus on a positive response to the proposed treatments.
    I know that it is difficult to do. We are here for you.

    Dear Moontje I am so sorry for your roller coaster ride but I don’t think this is the end at all. Quite a few of our Members have had other tumors, had chemo to shrink them and gone for surgery on the liver. Perhaps the ONC meant he just cannot have the surgery for now. You might want to ask him on your next visit which way he meant that about no surgery. What to do is to first find out what he meant, do the chemo as that is what needs to be done and get your strong attitude back as Tom need that from you. I know what a disappointment this must be but take a bit of time to regroup your thinking for the best outcome. Teddy used to say, now we know what is wrong let’s fix it!
    You never know how strong you are until “strong” is the only choice you have!

    HELLO EVERYONE,

    TOM HAS HAD HIS EMBOLISATION EVERYTHING WENT WELL, BUT THE LAST SCAN SCHOUWED ANOTHER THING BETWEEN THE LIVER AND BELLY OUTSITE THE LIVER… THEY WIL GO FOR A BIOPT OF THIS IF IT IS A TUMOR THEY SAY THAT THE BIG OPERATION ON THE LIVER IS THEN NO OPTION… AND HE WILL GET CHEMO ….WE ARE SO DEVESTATID OFF THIS ALL EVERYTHING IS GOING WRONG… WHAT MUST WHE DO I DON”T NOW, LET ME PLEASE NOW WHAT TO DO…IS THIS THE END…..
