That is wonderful, Susan. For Teddy’s Service I made sure everyone got a Brochure about CC and some did send donations and now I heard that our whole Temple choir made a donation. Anything we can do is one more step taken!

So happy to see this. We are trying so hard to get the word out on CC. For my husband, we have asked donations go to http://www.cholangiocarcinoma.org in remembrance of him instead of flowers. My daughter has arranged to have her company’s cancer walk for her dad and cholangiocarcinoma in June of this year. As we work together, we can make a difference!

    Lainy,

What great timing and near the beginning of the article where lots of people will see it.

Glad Teddy was there to help our Packer’s bring that trophy home! :)

Hope things are going OK for you. Take care.

    Love & Hugs,
    Darla

This hit the front page of our second section today, what perfect timing for our CC Month!

The Mayo Clinic in Arizona announced it has performed a record 307 transplants in 2010, surpassing the previous high of 301.

The transplants were considered solid organ transplants and include heart, kidney, liver and pancreas. Of the 307 transplants, 199 were kidney, 26 were simultaneous kidney/pancreas, 60 were liver and 22 were heart.
Other transplant highlights of 2010 include:

    – Being one of the few U.S. medical centers to perform liver transplants to treat a relatively rare bile duct cancer, called cholangiocarcinoma.
