    I’m on a trial at Fox Chase Cancer Center, U of Pa and Georgetown. It’s an inhibitor. There are so many trials out there… I really believe immunotherapy is the wave of the future. And all these trials seem to want biopsies to compare genetics.
    Feeling healthy is the most important thing.

    Pattimelt,

    I am sorry this is not the news you were hoping to hear. I hope you are able to qualify for the clinical trial. I like your attitude…and I think keeping on, keeping on is definitely the way to go!

    Pat timely,
    I spent two years getting hopeful, then discouraging news. It is so tough. I didn’t understand why I felt good but was being told how sick I was.
    Then I heard about this trial. I believe in my heart and soul that this is where God wants me to be. I’m still feeling healthy, and everything is stable!! I hope and pray that you get some good news soon.

    Thanks for the encouragement. I will keep on keeping on! My hope is in the Great Physician! This is definitely a roller coaster ride! I am doing a lot of screaming! Also enjoying to good days as much as I can!!

    I’m sorry to hear about your latest news on the progress of your treatments. I can imagine how disappointed you are to hear it. But I do remember a lot of members who have been fighting this disease said that this is like a rollercoaster ride. There are ups and downs and surprises in store. I hope this is one of those downs till your next ups! Best of luck to you on qualifying for a clinical trial. I’m also sending you loads of hope and positive thoughts your way.

    Pattimelt, please don’t despair as this could all lead to something better. Kris is doing great on her Trial and perhaps the CC monster needs a little shake up. I am hoping you get in to a trial. It is the weirdest disease. Very strange I guess the better you feel, things look like they are not working. Here’s hoping for the very best for you and please let us know right away. Sending you all good vibes and juju.

    After 2 rounds of Gem/Cis my oncologist said I need a scan before we start round 3 because my #s are not good. High CA-19 & platelet count not good. So I am a little discouraged. My SIRT radiation did not work & now looks like the chemo isn’t working either. I saw another oncologist at UCI & they are looking at my biopsy tissue to see if I have the gene to qualify for a trial. I don’t have the info in front of me to give the name of it. I have been feeling great like nothing is wrong with me. Hard to digest it all.
