Dear DJ – These are rough waters, but you have passed many firsts without your dad and this is a hard one, but you will make it. There is no escaping the pain and the missing, but I’m sure you have also relived some very wonderful memories. Cling to those and celebrate all that you learned from your dad and shared with him. I am so sorry that you must feel this pain and ongoing sense of loss, but I’m sure that as he looks upon you, going on, he is very proud of you. Blessings, Susan

Hi DJ, I am so sorry about your Dad but I do believe he is all around you and will be forever. You just need to see him in other ways.

DJ, I’m sorry you lost your Dad. I know what you mean about reliving these memories. We found out my dad had cc in May of last year. I keep reliving this month last year in my mind and it’s tough. He passed away in November 2010. He had so little time to fight. Keep your chin up and hold on to the good memories you have with your dad. Your dad loved you. Pam

My Dad was in hospice this time one year ago. He died on May 27, 2010. This has been such a tough time to “re-live” in my mind. It seems like just yesterday. I miss my Dad so very much.
