Hello Jeremy and welcome to our site. On behalf of The Cholangiocarcinoma n I would like to extend to you my most sincere condolences on the loss of your dear Mom. My heart is with you.
Jeremy, my involvement with this foundation derived from a desire similar to yours in that I felt a need of having an impact on this disease. There is much work to be done in various areas of advocacy. Therefore, if you so wish please either, contact me at Marion.Schwartz@Cholangiocarcinoma.org or, sign up with our volunteer address.

Dear Jeremy – I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. It is wonderful to hear that you have inherited her fighting spirit and want to invest your energies as an educator/advocate for this disease. Blessings to you, Susan

Dear Jeremy, I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your Mother. She must have been a wonderful and strong lady and is now at Peace. I do believe that mothers really never leave their children and you will feel her all around you. We love educators and advocates and it is real easy to become addicted (in a good way) to this CC web site. You have seen already, by accessing this site, that we have the most wonderful, caring and loving people the world over.
We may not be the biggest because of the rarity of CC but we sure are the BEST.
If you look at the very top of the page there is a category called ‘Get Involved”.
Listed are some ways that you can start by helping to get our name out there and etc. We are not very old yet, but we have made some good strides in the last year or so. Please don’t be a stranger and let us know how you are doing and if you have any questions…just ask.

Hello, my name is Jeremy. I know that this is my first post here but I have accessing this site for information and thoughts as to others stories with CC.

I lost my mother last Thursday to this dreaded disease. She was diagnosed almost one year ago today but we feel she had the disease much earlier. Even after she knew her fate, it did not take her fighting spirit from her until the very end.

I guess I’m just posting because I would like to become and will advocate in the fight to research, educate, and (maybe one day) bring hope for a cure. I would also like to support the nurses/doctors at the Mary Babb-Randolph Cancer Center of West Virginia University. Even though she did have long, their care and comfort is something that I will never forget.

If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know.

    Thank you.

    -Jeremy
