    Hi Alisa,

    Welcome to the site although I am sorry that you had to come here. Yes you are so right in that this is a wonderful community and you will get a ton of support and help from us all here. If you have any questions at all then please ask and I know that someone here will be able to help you. There are no silly questions!

    You are doing the right thing in trying to find information about CC and the more you learn about this the better. The search function at the top of the page is very good if you are looking for postings regarding a specific issue and you will find so much information when using that. It sounds like you and your mum are up for this fight and I wish you every success with it.

    Hi,
    My name is Alisa and I am from St. Louis, MO USA. My mom was just recently diagnosed at Barnes Hospital this past week. It looks like the doctors might be able to operate, but they want to do eight weeks of Chemo and radiation to try and shrink some tumors on her liver. She was supposed to start her chemo and radiation this wednesday, but so far, her ERCP came back inconclusive so that put a hold on that. I am hoping they can figure something out so she does not have to wait much longer without treatment. In the mean time, I am doing everything in my power to find out more about this cancer and am very thankful for this website. Just reading the forums gives me some understanding of what we are up against. I am ready to fight for my mom’s life. Right now I am just hopeful! Thank you all in advance for such a wonderful community. I have already purchased some bracelets to support the foundation, along with my mom.

    My thoughts are with all of you who are going through or have gone through this battle.
