Never be scared, this website helped me through my mother’s diagnosis, and her passing. We are one big family, feel free to vent, and let it out. We are here for you. Sending prayers and love to you and your mom.

Welcome back. It’s good to have you back here and we’re happy that you have come back as well. You will get a ton of support and help here from us all so please, keep coming back.
I hope that your mum meets the criteria for the trial at USC and please let us know how it goes for her. I will be keeping my fingers crossed for her and hoping to hear good news from you about this. Yes the waiting, much grrrrr with regards to that! It is something that we all go through with regards to treatments, scans and results etc so we know what you are going through with that. We are all here for you.

Danni….welcome back. This is not an easy diagnoses to digest, but we, as a group, have conquered much. You are in the right place.

I came across this website back in February but was scared to return. My mom was diagnosed with cc in Feb. She did not respond to initial treatment so we have been transferred to USC where she will hopefully begin a clinical trial next week. We’re just waiting to see if she meets certain criteria before we get the green light. The waiting is driving us crazy. It seems like it took forever to get her transferred. She hasn’t received chemo since mid April. I feel better being at USC because they have offered more treatment options but I still feel helpless.
I’m happy to be back on this site. It’s important and helpful to hear all of the encouraging news from members. My thoughts and prayers go out to everybody here.
