Hugs,
MargaretFebruary 23, 2011 at 7:09 am #48240slittle1127MemberDear Erica – My heart goes out to you, but when you have a cup of coffee in the morning just think that you are having it with mom and grandma. You will experience so many emotions, so be kind to yourself and grieve at your own pace. Thinking of you and wishing you peace. Susan

I am so sorry to hear that your mom has passed on. Unfortunately so many of us here have been where you are now and know how you are feeling. We can only be grateful that our loved ones are now in a better place and no longer suffering or in pain. Know that she will always be with you in your heart and memories. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love & Hugs,
DarlaFebruary 21, 2011 at 3:46 pm #48234lainySpectatorDearest Erica, you are the daughter every mother wishes for and you certainly fulfilled that wish. I truly believe that your Mother and Grandmother had coffee in the morning and who knows, they may have invited Teddy! I am so a believer in the beyond especially after my Dad, who never believed said he saw heaven and after Teddy was greeting so many people with hugs and kisses! I like to think that mothers never really leave us. they have just gone to another room and you will begin to feel your Mom all around you!
Your Mother, through your memories
Will never leave you.
You will feel her tender care from now on
As a warm serenity in your heart.
Hoping you always feel the encouragement
Of her love, and hold in memory

I lost my Mom on April 3, 2009 and I know the pain you are going through.
Please take some comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain. I’m sending you prayers for strength, hugs and tons of love to you and your family.
My heart is breaking for you….

February 21, 2011 at 2:52 pm #4804prayingformomflMemberWe lost my Mom, on Wed Feb 16th at 4:20am. My partner said that she waited until morning so she could join my Grandma for coffee I hope that’s true. She fought a hard fight in the 4 short months we dealt with CC. From nightmarish chemo setback, to drain tubes, and in the end, liver and kidney failure. But in true Mom fashion she wanted to go when she was ready, and stayed on through the night for almost 14 hours after they took her off the ventilator.
My Mother was an incredibly strong women, she brought our family through a lot and we were all the more stronger for it when we go to the other side. I am sure her passing will be no different.
She raised 3 amazing daughters, saw 4 grandchildren be brought into this world and brought my Father through many of his own health trials through his years. Though she was only 66 years young, she lived a full life and touched many people.
She will be missed greatly by anyone who came in contact with her.
I love you Mom!
