I would like to join with the others in sending my deepest sympathy to you and your family.
I know exactly how you are feeling right now, 15 months ago yesterday I was were you are. The day my beloved Dad took his last breath here on earth.
I hope that strength and peace wil be with you all in the days and weeks ahead, and yes I believe you will be back in the months ahead to gain the support of us all here on the board.
Now is the time to take care of yourself, your job is done and how well you have supported and cared for your Mum….
With love,
Katie

September 27, 2010 at 2:53 pm #42006cherbourgSpectatorOh Kimmie,
I stood in your shoes on April 3, 2009 so I can truly say I understand how you are feeling right now.
What a wonderful gift you all gave your Mom! Being there with her as she passed from your loving arms into those of her Lord. I’m so thankful her passing was peaceful and easy. She is now whole and healthy and reunited with other loved ones and the best part is that you know you WILL see her again someday!
I’ve had you on my mind a lot these last few days. I’ve prayed that your Mom’s passing would be peaceful. I know you will find a strength deep inside you to carry you through these next few days.
When you’re ready, we’ll all be here for you throughout the grieving process.
Prayers, love and lots of hugs are coming your way…

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. My thoughts and prayers willl be with you all.September 27, 2010 at 12:50 pm #4083kimmieSpectatorMy dear sweet mother Bonnie completed her journey on this earth yesterday afternoon at 3:30pm. She was surrounded by her husband Jerry, her children Kim, Karen and Mark, her sister & brother in law Elaine and Pete, and son in law Rob. It was truly peaceful.
We are trying to be comforted at the thought of Mom, whole and healthy and at peace, in heaven with the Father and Jesus, with her parents Mose and Libby, her sister Sally and her brother David. That is the one thought that comforts me at the moment.
Since Mom never specified, in her obituary we are listing in lieu of flowers, donations for both Hospice or cholangiocarcinoma.org.
Many love and prayers to all of you still fighting the battle. I’d imagine I’ll still need to visit here in the coming weeks and months for the support of those who know what I’m going through.
